CWM’s Spring Workshop:  A Poverty Simulation

WHAT: POVERTY SIMULATION WORKSHOP
WHEN: 6-8 p.m., THURSDAY, MAY 9, 2019
WHERE: Habitat ReStore 1133 North Wendover Road

WHY & HOW: Over 100,000 of our neighbors live in poverty. Conducted by Crisis Assistance Ministry, this workshop is designed to illuminate the complex issues surrounding poverty. If you’ve never participated in a poverty simulation, it’s a must-do exercise that will change you forever. And if you HAVE participated before, bring a friend!

  • Reservations are required and limited to the first 80 registrants.
  • In addition to the 80 registrants– NEEDED: Please consider volunteering for this event–those who have particpated in a poverty simulation preferred but not necessary. We need 20 volunteers!

This is a free event, but donations to Habitat for Humanity and Crisis Assistance Ministry are welcome!

ATTENDANCE: Limit is 80; reservations are required. Please register by clicking here.

Registration between 6:00-6:15 with a sharp start at 6:30. Light refreshments served.
