We Kicked Off My Campaign!

My campaign for the District 5 CMS Board of Education seat officially “kick-offed” on Saturday, May 20. It felt like summer—a beautiful, warm day with lunch “on the grounds” at Sharon Elementary School. My involvement with CMS started at Sharon when my girls entered school there so it felt right for that to be the place to begin my campaign.

For a virtual experience, check out this video on my Facebook page and see who was there – sorry you can’t smell or taste the BBQ through the screen!

Many of you have already expressed support for me in terms of donating to the campaign.  Thank you!

Margaret Marshall and husbandAs a first time candidate, I am hoping to raise $50,000 to mount a successful campaign. Things are going well, but I need as much support as I can get by June 30, the first election reporting deadline. This deadline is important because it sends a signal about the strength of my campaign to other candidates and the public at large.

Please help me report a strong start!
