“I Am Jazz” May 18th

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, Time Out Youth, Equality NC, PFLAG Charlotte, and HRC Charlotte present:

I AM JAZZ Community Book Reading & Discussion

Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 4 to 5 p.m.

West Boulevard Library branch, 2157 West Boulevard, Charlotte, NC.

The critically acclaimed book, I Am Jazz — a children’s picture book by transgender teen and HRC Foundation Youth Ambassador Jazz Jennings and co-author, Jessica Herthel — was written to help people of all ages gain an understanding of transgender youth.

On May 18, from 4 to 5 p.m., the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library’s West Boulevard Library location (2157 West Boulevard, Charlotte, NC) will host a reading of I Am Jazz. Following the reading, members of Time Out Youth, Equality NC, and PFLAG Charlotte will facilitate a discussion.

The event is open to all ages.
